1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PrintWrld ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of any 3D models, images, or other content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant PrintWrld a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize the use of your User Content.
  • Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
  • Your User Content is not illegal, obscene, defamatory, or threatening.

4. Marketplace & Fees

Selling Models: Creators may sell their 3D models on PrintWrld. By listing a model for sale, you agree to pay a 10% platform fee on each transaction. As the merchant of record, you are also responsible for standard Stripe payment processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30), which are deducted automatically from your payouts.

Purchasing Models: Users may purchase licenses to download 3D models. Prices are listed in the currency displayed.

5. Licenses & Refunds

License: When you purchase a model, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the model for personal, non-commercial use only, unless explicitly stated otherwise by the creator. You may not resell, redistribute, or share the digital files.

Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of the products, all sales are final. Refunds are only issued if the file is technically defective or misrepresented, at PrintWrld's sole discretion.

5a. Purchase Policy

By purchasing 3D models on PrintWrld, you agree to the following:

  • No Refunds: Due to the digital nature of our products (3D model files), all sales are final. We cannot offer refunds once the files have been purchased and unlocked.
  • "As-Is" Policy: All 3D models are provided "as-is". While our creators strive for quality, PrintWrld does not guarantee that every model is error-free or suitable for your specific 3D printer setup.
  • Print Quality: PrintWrld is not responsible for the quality of the final physical print. Success depends heavily on your printer calibration, filament choice, and slicer settings.
  • File Availability: If a seller removes their account, edits a model, or deletes a specific model, it may no longer be available. Download and back up your files immediately.
  • No Resale: You may not resell, redistribute, or re-upload purchased models.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
  • Upload any content that contains software viruses or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware.
  • Sell stolen content: You may only sell models that you created or obtained the explicit right to sell. Listing content for sale that violates copyright laws will result in immediate account termination.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users of the Service, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will post the revised terms on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
